Iphone Backup Date Wrong
ITunes Backup Date Won't Change. Discussion in 'iPad General Discussions' started by Bingoldsby, Feb 19, 2013. After having performed backups manually on both the iPad 2 and my iPhone 4 in the latest version of iTunes, I see that the date of 'Last backed up to this computer: 10/5/2011 4:33 PM' remains. Since date in mac is calculated from 2001 and not 1970, we have to add some extra to this mac date. 00 is equivalent to milliseconds until 2001-01-01 Also multiplying by 1000 is required to convert to milli-seconds.
Hi Ric,

Check Iphone Backup Date
I understand it must be frustrating, but rest assured, we are here to help you and guide you in the right direction.
This issue may be caused due to incorrect date settings in the computer or BIOS.
Try these steps.
Make sure the time and date settings is set correctly and also make sure “Automatically synchronize with an Internet time server” is selected, see the section Synchronizing with an Internet time server in Set the clock link above.
Change the Time Server for your location and then test
a)Change the default time server by right-clicking on the clock, and then choose Adjust Date/Time from the menu.
b)Click on the Internet Time tab.
c)Now click the Change settings button.
d)In the Internet Time Settings dialog, you can change the default server by choosing an item from the drop-down, or you can type in a new entry. You can also test it immediately by clicking the Update now button.
Check Bios settings and make sure that time and date settings are set correctly.
BIOS Disclaimer:
Modifying BIOS/ complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the configuring of BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Modifications of the settings are at your own risk.
Hope it helps.
Keep us posted if you face any issues on Windows in future. We will be glad to help you.
I'm sure that the information in the backup is up-to-date, but I would not want to restore it unless I had to.
Has anyone else run into an issue with the backup date?
